A month of poetry writing prompts | 2023

Someone writing poetry in a notebook. Title: One Month of Poetry Writing Prompts to Use in 2023

2023 is the perfect year to spark your creativity. What better way to do this than by participating in a poem-a-day challenge?

If you’re not familiar with the concept, a poem-a-day challenge is where poets and writers challenge themselves to write one poem each day for a month using poetry writing prompts.

These poetry writing prompts are usually between just one and three words each. The challenge (and fun) is to use the word or phrase given to you to come up with a unique poem. You can take the poetry prompts as literally or as loosely as you like to inspire your words.
